I have recently bought an Artisan Kitchen Aid mixer …. (yaaayy …).
For so long, the only mixer that i have is the mini hand mixer that I got for free from somewhere. It has been heavily used ’till now. Well, for those who hasn’t noticed, I love baking … hehehehe …
I am a silent follower of NCC mailing list for years. Their recent donut week event was really impressed me. The discussion regarding how to make perfect donut and bread went on and on, seems that no one couldn’t make a good bread/donut afterward. . And that was why I pestered Mahadi to buy me this mixer. hehehehe ….
The below recipe was among the first batch of bread and donut recipes that i have tried with my Artisan. It is highly recommended, i love the fact that you could improvise by using any filling as you please. Anything that you currently have in your kitchen (well , not sambal terasi/belacan for sure … )
Roti Empuk / SOFT BREAD

Bahan :
500 gr tepung terigu protein tinggi
100 gr gula
100 gr mentega
11 gr ragi instant
½ sdt bread improver
4 btr kuning telor
300 ml air es
½ sdt garam
Cara membuat:
* Campur semua bahan kering, kecuali garam, aduk rata
* Masukkan air 200ml dan telur, aduk dan uleni sampai rata.
* Masukkan mentega dan garam, uleni lagi sampai kalis elastis.
* Adonan siap dibentuk-bentuk.
* Diamkan adonan hingga mengembang 2 kali, lalu oven hingga matang.
Catatan: sisa air 100ml buat jaga-jaga aja kalau adonan kurang lembek tambahkan sedikit demi sedikit.
